WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT
HELP has organized the rural people into 520 Self Help Groups, including 20 Lambani Embroidery Craft Artisans Groups and maturing them to take up entrepreneurial activities besides many other social activities to enhance their standard of living. This provided an opportunity for women to come together and discuss common issues at regular intervals. Organization also supports by providing Micro Finance services to uplift the living status of rural poor.
WOMEN AND CHILD RIGHTS AWARNESS
HELP has organized Awareness programmess on Women and Child Rights, struggle against the dowry, child labour, child marriage, etc. Help working against the slavery, right to education and employment, the right to health care with the collaboration of Women and Child Development Dept. and UNICEF Fight against child labour, exploitation on child, provide good education with the collaboration of CACL-K, Bangalore.
UJJWALA SCHEAME
A project sponsored by the Ministry of Women and Child welfare, Govt.of India, New-Delhi. The project sanctioned on 4 components: Prevention, Rescue, Rehabilitation and Reintegration of the victims. The main objective of the project is prevention of trafficking of women and child, rehabilitation and reintegration of those victims. While working this project we have formed Vigilance Group Committee for keeping the eye on the strangers or to get the information of trafficking place where the women and child get trafficked. We are creating lot of awareness on the Trafficking of women and child concept in all the Taluks of Chitradurga Dist by jathas, street plays, and pamphlets, meetings for the anganwadi workers, GP, TP and ZP 0members. For the victims, we have also conducting skill development trainings for their sustainable life after the reintegrated. We have also conduct sales exhibitions for the product prepared by the victims of UJJAWALA Scheme.
